The Journey Continues
Since I was about four years old, I’ve been drawing from my environment and my imagination. I’ve also drawn inspiration from my favorite movies and shows. I am enamored with the styles and animations of Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Batman: The Animated Series, classic Looney Tunes, and Jurassic Park to name a few.
As I created comics and illustrations throughout school, I realized that my art projects emphasized storytelling, character design, and movement. My longtime friends and I constantly brainstormed fantastical narratives and developed characters to drive them.
The journey continues as I draw and study the art of visual storytelling. I find inspiration from the natural environment and people of Alaska where I love to paint the landscape and explore with my partner.
